Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an energetic Heavy Maintenance Crew Member to join our Heavy Maintenance Division. The role involves installing sumps and retrofit kits, entry fittings, piping, setting dispensers and pumping units, and related concrete, electrical and environmental tasks.

Responsibilities include digging with heavy equipment, concrete work, traveling to job sites (overnights possible), and maintaining safe, clean job sites while coordinating with crew, vendors and subcontractors to ensure

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75–100 lbs when necessary.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dig ditches and install equipment using heavy equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing and finishing.
• Travel to job sites; overnight travel may be required.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew, vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors to maintain timely flow of materials.
• Follow all safe work practices and maintain housekeeping at the job site.

SPATCO is looking for an energetic Heavy Maintenance Crew Member to join our team.This person will work in SPATCO's Heavy Maintenance Division and specialize in multiple aspects of the petroleum industry including the installation of sumps and retrofit kits, entry fittings, piping, setting dispensers and pumping units, as well as all aspects of these jobs including; concrete work, electrical, environmental cleanup, and disposing of the old equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Using heavy equipment to dig ditches, manually install equipment.
• Work with concreate, framing, pouring, mixing, finishing.
• Traveling to job sites (may require overnights).
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials and sub-contractor work.
• Ensure all safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed at all times, including job cleanup at the end of each day.

Experience, Competencies and Education

• High school diploma or, GED
• Experience in the petroleum industry and product familiarity is a plus.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 –100 lbs when necessary during the course of performing their necessary duties.
