Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking a Heavy Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee installation and maintenance tasks within our Heavy Maintenance Division. You will coordinate crew members and subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure safety and compliance on every project.

Applicants should have experience in the petroleum industry or related fields, be able to lift heavy loads, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and collaborate effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus.
• 40hr OSHA Hazwopper training is a plus.
• Installer certifications in the industry is a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks to heavy maintenance workers and sub-contractors.
• Monitor and maintain schedules for workmen and sub-contractors; ensure installation requirements are followed accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all safe work practices and housekeeping practices are followed at all times, including daily job cleanup.
• Brief crew members on daily tasks and direct work on assigned tasks.
• Track rental equipment, material needs and use; monitor labor and sub-contractor costs to maintain budgets.
• Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress with codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections and visitors.
• Maintain product warranty documentation.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
