Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a hands-on Rigger-Industrial Machinery Mover in Coppell, TX. This full-time role requires assembling, disassembling, and maneuvering heavy machinery using rigging gear and signaling to ensure safe relocation and operation.

Responsibilities include inspecting rigging, aligning equipment, selecting appropriate gear, and coordinating with team members to move loads safely through confined spaces.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and/or endorsements may be required for certain positions.
• Willing to learn and follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand or power tools to prepare for moving.
• Select appropriate gear based on load weights and sizes.
• Signal or communicate with workers to ensure safety.
• Move heavy equipment through confined spaces using rigging equipment.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment when required.
