Job summary

Branch Civil, Inc. in Virginia is seeking skilled construction workers and operators for a variety of opportunities on our growing team. The role includes following manager instructions, using tools, and adhering to safety rules to support highway and site development projects.

Ideal candidates have a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements (within 60 days), 2–3 years of operator experience, and DOT experience is a plus. Strong safety mindset and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days.
• 2–3 years operator experience.
• DOT experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills with iPad and MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, and plate compactor.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
• Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude.

Position Summary

Branch Civil (BCI) is always searching for skilled, reliable, and experienced construction workers, operators, and professionals tojoin our well-established, growing company. We have a variety of opportunities in the New Kent, VA area.These future employee-owners will contribute to the Branch's successful completion of projects in the heavy civil construction industry, including highways and site development.

Duties/Responsibilities

Depending on position, duties could include some or all of the following:

• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.

Compensation

Salary Min: $28,700

Salary Max: $70,110

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

40 hours per week. Schedules may vary based on project.
