Branch Civil (BCI) is always searching for skilled, reliable, and experienced construction workers, operators, and professionals to join our well-established, growing company. We have a variety of opportunities in the New Kent, VA area. These future employee-owners will contribute to the Branch's successful completion of projects in the heavy civil construction industry, including highways and site development. We're hiring Laborers, Pipe Layers, Excavator Operators, Bulldozer Operators, Equipment Operators, Loader Operators, etc.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, and plate compactor
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations
• Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with iPad and MS office experience
• CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days
• 2-3 years operator experience

Physical Demands
