Job summary

Raymond West is seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to lead heavy haul transportation operations, manage drivers, and ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role requires field leadership, coaching, and performance management to drive efficiency and service quality.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily activities, collaborate with dispatch and project teams, and maintain regulatory compliance across DOT, FMCSA, HOS, and ELD requirements while supporting budgeted

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position.
Valid Class A CDL is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of commercial driving experience, preferably in heavy haul/specialized transport.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/leadership/management experience in transportation or logistics operations.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA, Hours of Service, ELD, and permitting programs.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff and assign projects; conduct performance evaluations.
Coordinate driver schedules, permits, escorts, and resource allocation.
Monitor transportation activities to resolve service interruptions.
Lead safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with dispatch, logistics, sales, operations, and project teams to optimize service delivery.
