Job summary

West Penn Heavy Haul LLC is seeking a Truck Pusher to coordinate daily heavy haul and rig-moving operations in the field. You will direct drivers, supervise equipment, and communicate with district management, customers, and field crews to keep moves safe and efficient.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced field environment, with expectations for varying schedules and outdoor work across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trucking, heavy haul, rig moving, oil & gas, or a related field.
• Previous experience with rig moves, rigging, or heavy equipment transportation preferred.
• Experience working with truck drivers and field crews.
• Strong knowledge of heavy haul and rig-moving operations.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and load securement requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, management, customers, and field personnel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand heavy equipment and transportation operations.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced field environment.
• Must be willing to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours as operational needs require.
• Ability to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rigging down and rigging up drilling rigs and related equipment.
• Mobilization, demobilization, loading, unloading, staging, and positioning of heavy equipment.
• Coordinate drivers and field crews during rig moves and equipment transportation.
• Ensure equipment is prepared, secured, and positioned for transportation and operation.
• Monitor field activities and communicate changes, delays, or concerns to the District Manager.
• Coordinate equipment and manpower during large or complex moves.
• Work directly with field personnel to keep rig moves organized and progressing safely and efficiently.
