Job summary

West Penn Heavy Haul LLC is seeking a Bed Truck Operator to safely transport drilling components and heavy loads. You will assist with rig moves, rigging, and securing equipment, while coordinating with field crews to ensure safe, efficient transportation.

The role requires experience with bed trucks, basic load securement, and strict safety discipline, with flexibility for varying schedules and outdoor work on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating bed trucks or similar equipment.
• Experience in heavy haul, rig moving, oil & gas, construction preferred.
• Ability to load, unload, and secure heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bed trucks to transport drilling components and loads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Assist with rigging down/up drilling rigs and equipment.
• Load, position, and secure equipment for transportation.
• Maintain logs and comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Coordinate with Truck Pusher and field crews for moves.
