Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a professional CDL driver in Texas to haul heavy equipment and provide reliable on‑road service. You will be the face of the company, uphold safety standards and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.

Expect competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and performance bonuses. Drivers operate locally and on extended trips with flexible hours, staying compliant with DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with at least two years of heavy hauling/commercial driving experience.
• Must be at least 22 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Report each scheduled day, on-time, ready and able to work, well-groomed and in uniform.
• Work with our Dispatch team and coordinate loads.
• Haul heavy equipment and perform interstate towing/transport when required.
• Inspect and ensure safety of vehicle, tools, chains and straps.
• Comply with DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs and records.

• Report each scheduled day, on-time, ready and able to work, well-groomed and in uniform.
• Work with our Dispatch team
• Heavy equipment hauling
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended travel as required both local and distance hauling.
• Lowboy and Land All
• Perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues.
• Comply with Company and DOT regulations regarding the safe operation of the truck.
• Tracking E logs
• Inspect all supplied tools such as chains, straps, and cables to ensure equipment is in a good and safe condition.
• Report any issue that restricts the ability to complete the dispatch in a timely manner.
• Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competencies and Abilities

• Basic technology skills. Ability to use GPS, company-issued software, mobile device
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A driver’s license with at least two (2) years of heavy hauling/commercial driving experience
• Must be at least 22 Years of age

Physical Requirements

Job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to the weather. Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.
