Heavy Haul, LLC is seeking a capable Heavy Haul Dispatcher/Coordinator to efficiently dispatch oversized and overweight loads. You will brief drivers on load details, routes, and safety norms, coordinating with customers and the operations team to ensure timely deliveries.

You will manage multiple shipments, answer inquiries, and ensure adherence to DOT rules, permits, and safety standards while maintaining clear communication with drivers and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certifications a plus.
• Previous experience in heavy haul/transport dispatching preferred.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, permits, and oversized load requirements.
• Proficient with dispatch software, GPS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; multitasking ability.
• Office environment with drivers and customers via phone/email.
• Knowledge of Heavy Equipment/Construction Equipment.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and schedule heavy haul shipments with optimal routing.
• Assign drivers to loads based on requirements and driver availability.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to customers and management.
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers, customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure shipments comply with regulations, permits, routes and weight limits.
• Prepare and maintain records of shipments and incidents; coordinate permits.
• Utilize dispatch software to manage shipments and generate reports.
• Collaborate with operations to improve dispatch efficiency and service delivery.
