Job summary

Resolute Performance Iron, a specialty steel contractor, is seeking a motivated individual to assist our shop team in meeting production goals while maintaining a positive workplace environment. The Heavy Forklift Operator will handle large steel members, stage material for coatings, and build loads of finished steel, supporting both steel and solar energy projects.

Duties include unloading and re-loading trucks, maintaining forklifts, and following all safety protocols, with additional duties

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 30k straight-mast forklift.
• Experience in a structural steel fabrication shop is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, attentive, and detail oriented.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handling large and heavy steel members.
• Staging material for surface preparation and coatings.
• Building loads of finished structural steel.
• Unloading and re-loading trucks.
• Maintaining forklifts.
• Following all safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
