Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to pass an on-site evaluation.
• 1–2 years of experience operating heavy industrial forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud, non-climate-controlled factory.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy-duty and high-capacity forklifts to transport steel sheets, beams, and coils.
• Pull inventory from warehouse racks based on active production orders.
• Load and unload flatbed trucks and shipping containers safely.
• Inspect the forklift daily before use to check fluid levels and brakes.
• Report any equipment damage or safety hazards to the supervisor right away.
• Stack metal products neatly to prevent damage and keep walkways clear.
