Our material handler will be based at our shop in North Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Ability to work outside in the heat
• Ability to stand most of the shift
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a written and practical exam for competence as a Heavy forklift operator
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and maintain positive interpersonal interactions
• Willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time
• Ability or willingness to learn a paperless management system

Beneficial but not required:

• Heavy operating equipment experience
• Reach lift experience
• Combi-lift experience
• Proper hand signaling experience
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Production material handling – Assisting in staging, moving material into and out of primer departments, and helping fabrication teams. Must be comfortable moving heavy equipment.
2. Receiving – Verifying material, documenting damages, inputting data into inventory system. Handling long materials up to 50' and 7000 lbs.
3. Delivery assistance – Organizing materials for delivery and assisting with loading semi-trailers.
4. Yard organization and maintenance – Ensuring materials are on designated racks, yard watering, and performing forklift inspections.
