Job Summary

You’ll be responsible for organizing materials, transporting equipment to job sites, fulfilling orders, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Essential Duties
  • Organize and maintain materials, tools, equipment, and supplies efficiently within the warehouse to optimize operations.
  • Follows instructions and meets set standards for hauling and scheduling.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or job site use
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, handling heavy items with ease and ensuring safe lifting practices.
  • Help field and shop workers get the tools and materials they need
  • Occasionally operate company vehicles (under 26K lbs) to move materials between locations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
  • Conduct basic inspections on tools, equipment, and warehouse supplies
  • Occasionally assist less experienced team members or provide support on small projects
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members.
  • May assist in recommendations of processes on new assignments
  • Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks. Adheres to quality guidelines.
  • Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Cleans and inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition. Helps cover and protect tools, equipment and materials from excessive weather conditions.
  • Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. It is responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner. This involves loading customer orders properly on the truck, ensuring that appropriate forms are completed, and delivering merchandise to the customer in a safe and timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Must successfully pass the Smith Driving exam as part of the qualification process.
  • Must have valid, state issued driver’s license.
  • 2-5 years of experience.
  • Must be able to use app based technology.
  • Previous warehouse or construction experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials commonly used in the field
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
