Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a skilled laborer for a day shift at our McCullom Lake, IL location. You will support production operations on a variety of equipment, assist with installation, maintenance and welding on crushing equipment and conveyors, and help keep the plant safe and clean.

Candidates should have a high school diploma/GED, be willing to work holidays and overtime, and follow strict safety PPE protocols. Join us to contribute to North America’s infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, varying shifts and overtime.
• Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE usage will be required.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations using a variety of tools and equipment such as shovels, brooms, bobcats, forklifts, drills, grinders, saws, and pressure washers.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and programmable logic controls.
• Perform welding repairs on crushing equipment and assist with machine setup, maintenance and overhaul.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for maintenance and overhaul of machinery.
• Identify and report irregularities or malfunctions and assist in corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanliness, lubrication and general upkeep of machinery on site.
