Job summary

Red River Science & Technology, LLC seeks an experienced heavy equipment technician at Fort Knox, KY. The role maintains and repairs cranes, heavy trucks, dozers, generators, and other power equipment to ensure readiness.

You will diagnose issues, disassemble and reassemble machinery, follow Army regulations and company procedures, and may travel to other sites. A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment and theory of operation.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CAC.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain CAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on power equipment such as cranes, shovels, scrapers, and grinders.
• Inspect, dismantle, reassemble equipment with hoists and hand tools; replace engines/subassemblies and test performance.
• Maintain hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems on heavy vehicles.
• Follow Army regulations, DA PAMs, manuals, and company procedures in all tasks.
