Job summary

Red River Science & Technology, LLC is seeking a Small Arms Repairer Supervisor to oversee the repair, maintenance, and service of small arms and related equipment at the Fort Knox civilian military maintenance facility. The supervisor will lead the Allied Trades, EVT, and ETM Shop sections, manage work orders, ensure safety and quality standards, and brief leadership weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5 Years’ experience in maintenance management may be substituted for each year of education.
• Must be experienced operating within GCSS-Army at a functional level appropriate for assigned responsibilities in MMD, Plant 2000.
• Ability to exercise discretion and good sound judgment with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the small arms repair shop, ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of weapons and related equipment.
• Oversee EVT section operations, ensuring emergency vehicles are maintained and repaired to required standards.
• Direct ETM Shop activities, ensuring proper repair and maintenance of military radios and night vision devices.
• Assign work orders, monitor progress, and ensure quality control across all supervised sections.
• Prepare weekly reports on work accomplished, upcoming requirements, and any issues affecting operations.
