Job summary

Red River Science & Technology in Fort Knox, KY is seeking a Technical Inspector Supervisor to oversee all Automotive/Equipment Maintenance Inspection functions. You will lead a team performing initial, random, and final inspections, ensuring adherence to MEL and Army regulations.

The candidate will monitor labor hours and costs, coordinate procurement data, and maintain thorough records. A strong background in heavy equipment systems and supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of inspection experience with military or civilian equipment/vehicles.
• Two years supervisory experience or three years civilian shop supervision.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment systems and mechanics.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass MHE testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the inspection department for efficiency within budget and quality standards.
• Supervise inspections on a wide range of equipment and vehicles.
• Estimate labor hours and parts/materials costs using approved methods.
• Manage LIS data entry and update maintenance action statuses.
• Develop SOPs and maintain accurate records and manuals.
• Ensure safety rules and company procedures are followed.
