CRH plc in Kansas is seeking a Truck Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Ready Mix Trucks and heavy construction equipment. You will diagnose issues, rebuild components, and ensure reliability while adhering to safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
• 3–6 months hands‑on experience with heavy equipment maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid CDL A or B and ASE certifications preferred; clean driving record is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose issues, analyze malfunctions, and deliver effective solutions.
• Disassemble and rebuild components; replace engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Test equipment for optimal performance and safety.
• Demonstrate welding skills to restore components.
• Lead and mentor teammates during maintenance tasks.
• Document work with accurate time and parts records.
• Suggest improvements and safer, more efficient methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to keep fleet ready.
• Travel or work nights/weekends as needed; ensure PPE compliance.
