APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a Truck Technician to diagnose, dismantle, rebuild and maintain heavy equipment on our Kansas job sites. You will use precision tools and document work records while mentoring teammates with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; assoc. degree or tech cert a plus.
• 3-6 months of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A/B) preferred; clean driving record is a plus.
• Have basic hand tools and sockets up to 1/2 inch.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and deliver effective solutions for reliability.
• Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment with advanced tools and techniques.
• Examine parts for wear using precision instruments.
• Replace and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulics and more.
• Test and tune equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Demonstrate welding to restore components and mentor teammates.
• Maintain accurate time and parts records for compliance.
• Suggest improvements and adapt solutions to technical challenges.
• Keep a clean, organized work environment and follow PPE protocols.
