James River Equipment in Charlotte, NC seeks experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians for shop or field work on John Deere fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure safety and quality in every job.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on shop/field environment.
• Experience as a mechanic/technician on heavy construction, industrial or diesel equipment preferred.
• Basic Service Technician or Mechanic certification preferred.
• Regular use of computers for codes and work orders is preferred.
• Excellent time management and strong oral and written communication skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; self-motivation and reliability are essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment per the Service Manager/Service Writer.
• Prepare reports and forms related to work assignments.
• Maintain shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety rules and regulations for all work performed.
• Disassemble and inspect equipment to facilitate parts ordering and scheduling.
• Keep accurate time, parts, and supplies records for customer and dealership equipment.
