Physical Effort

Field Mechanics regularly work on machines in tight and uncomfortable positions. They may stand for long periods of time while also having to bend, crawl, or lay on their backs when making repairs. Field Mechanics perform work both in the shop and out at customer locations. You occasionally perform work on loose-footing areas outside of the shop and in the field.
