Job summary

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to service John Deere construction equipment at customer sites, traveling in a fully loaded service vehicle to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment (preferably John Deere).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair John Deere construction equipment at customer locations.
• Travel in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle to service sites and perform quality work.
• Interact with customers and ensure work is completed right the first time.
• Maintain and service equipment to maximize uptime.
