Job summary

Empower Rental Group is hiring a CEC Technician in Memphis, TN. This role combines advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment with proactive sales of maintenance and repair services.

You will engage customers, recommend service plans, and drive revenue while maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical work, strong knowledge of hydraulics and powertrains, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience.
• Extensive diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Complete complex repairs to construction, aerial, and earthmoving machinery.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers; promote maintenance packages and services.
• Write and manage purchase orders for repair parts and materials; ensure records are properly closed out.
• Maintain a safe work environment and participate in safety meetings.
• Upsell and schedule follow-up services with customers.
