Mechanics Hub, Brookline, MO, seeks a Heavy Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, assemble, and recondition heavy equipment. The role emphasizes hydraulics, electrical, and diagnostic skills with ongoing training and career growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a diesel mechanics background and at least 1 year of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license and strong problem-solving abilities. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

Degree in Diesel Mechanics, Diesel Technology, or a related field; plus 1 year of heavy/industrial equipment experience or equivalent training.
Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems; strong diagnostics and calibration skills.
Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50+ lbs; safe work habits.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, assemble, and recondition heavy and industrial equipment.
Diagnose equipment problems and identify repairs and replacement parts.
Perform equipment inspections and maintain service records.
Communicate repair findings and progress to Service Manager and customers.
Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean workspace following safety standards.
