Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Olathe, KS is hiring a Heavy Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, assemble, and recondition heavy and industrial equipment. You will inspect machines, perform repairs, and maintain service records while adhering to DOT and OSHA safety standards.

Ideal candidates have diesel/industrial equipment experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, plus strong troubleshooting and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Mechanics, Diesel Technology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of heavy or industrial equipment experience or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, diagnostics, and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, assemble, and recondition heavy and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose equipment problems and identify required repairs and parts.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate progress to the Service Manager and customers.
• Follow safety standards and complete ongoing technical training.
