Job summary

Roland Machinery Company, a family-owned dealer of construction and forestry equipment in the Midwest, seeks qualified technicians to service heavy equipment across multiple locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning equipment, maintaining client relations, and staying current with industry trends.

Applicants should have a HS diploma, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; trade school or direct industry experience is highly desired.
• Minimum of two (2) years full-time heavy equipment experience; not a maintenance position.
• Clean driving record required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationships with clients by providing service, support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending solutions
• Identifies product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competition
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending factory training
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs and reconditioning of construction, municipal and highway related heavy equipment and related components
• Present a favorable company image in appearance, uniform, language, personal conduct, and while operating a company vehicle
• Large Diesel Engine repair and servicing
