SourceLine is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to join our service team in a shop environment. You will diagnose, service, and repair construction and heavy equipment from a variety of manufacturers, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems and ensuring quality repairs.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing, document work completed, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop while coordinating with the service team to keep equipment ready for use.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing or repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, diesel equipment, or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for diverse equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and related diagnostics.
• Ability to identify issues and complete repairs with quality workmanship.
• Experience with multiple equipment manufacturers is a plus.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment or willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine the appropriate repairs.
• Inspect equipment to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.
• Service and repair a variety of heavy and compact construction equipment.
• Operate equipment as needed to assist with diagnostics and verify completed repairs.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Document completed work, repairs, and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
• Work with the service team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
