Job summary

SourceLine is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join our service team. This role requires traveling to customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair a variety of heavy and compact equipment, using strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in the field.

You will work from the road, performing preventive maintenance and repairing hydraulic and electrical issues, ensuring safe and efficient completion of repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform service and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service.
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Service a variety of heavy and compact equipment.
• Operate equipment as needed to diagnose and verify repairs.
• Work from a company service truck.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and completed repairs.
• Work independently while coordinating with the service team.
