Job summary

HiFyve in Buford, GA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join its service team. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a strong compensation package and a team-focused shop environment.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain excavators and earthmoving equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and use diagnostic software. Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus; tool allowance and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
• Experience with manufacturer diagnostic software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction and earthmoving equipment.

Job description

Our client is a leading heavy equipment dealer seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their service team in Buford, GA. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with strong compensation and a team-oriented shop environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction and earthmoving equipment (excavators, dozers, graders, wheel loaders, etc.)
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and component replacement
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and engine systems
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repair orders accurately and on time
• Use diagnostic software and electronic service tools to identify faults
• Document all work performed in the dealer management system

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate: $35.00 — $45.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:
