Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Virginia is seeking a Technical Communicator to create and maintain accurate service documentation for technicians, service managers, and customers. This role acts as a bridge between branches, OEM partners, and internal teams to ensure effective troubleshooting and consistent service practices.

You will translate OEM updates into clear instructions, support field communications, and help train technicians with up-to-date content across Linder equipment

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical concepts into clear instructions.
• Experience with heavy equipment systems and OEM partner communications.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and service manuals.
• Proficiency with standard office and documentation tools to maintain organized records.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain Linder-specific service documentation and SOPs.
• Translate OEM technical updates and field campaigns into actionable technician instructions.
• Ensure documents meet Linder standards for clarity, accuracy, and version control.
• Coordinate documentation libraries accessible across all branches.
