Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a Technical Communicator to support service operations by creating, organizing, and delivering accurate technical information for technicians, service managers, and customers.

This role acts as a key communication bridge between Linder branches, OEM partners, and internal departments to ensure efficient troubleshooting, consistent service practices, and high-quality customer support.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication translating complex mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical concepts into clear instructions.
• Experience with heavy equipment systems and OEM products such as Komatsu or related lines.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PDF editing, and documentation systems.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
• Experience in a service, technical writing, or equipment support role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain Linder-specific service documentation, including troubleshooting guides, repair instructions, and SOPs.
• Translate OEM updates and field campaigns into clear, actionable instructions for technicians.
• Ensure documents meet branding, clarity, accuracy, and version control standards.
• Manage documentation libraries across all branches for current, accessible information.
• Serve as a technical liaison between OEM support teams, branches, and field technicians.
• Assist in resolving service issues via the Technical Service Request process.
• Communicate product updates and failure trends to branch personnel.
• Participate in OEM technical calls and provide follow-up internal documentation.
