Job summary

You will read equipment condition reports, document parts usage and hours, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualified candidates have ASE certifications and at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, with a trade certificate or degree, and knowledge of Tier 4 emission systems.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or equivalent ASE training.
• 1+ year experience on heavy equipment.
• Mechanical trade school certificate or degree.
• Electrical diagnostics certificate.
• Tier 4 emission systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy equipment.
• Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, diesel and gasoline equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and discusses preventive techniques with operators.
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage and times.
• Completes daily consumables report to record hours, fuel and oil usage.
• Collects and interprets analyses from oil sampling and fleet software.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs overhauls on gas or diesel engines.
