Job summary

Dexian seeks a Technical Skills Instructor - Mechanical1 to deliver classroom and hands-on training for craft personnel at generating plants across Georgia and Alabama. The role requires expert knowledge of heavy equipment operations and safety protocols, including pre-operational checks and crane/rigging activities.

Responsibilities include creating instructional materials, assessing progress, and supporting students in practical exercises.

Qualifications

• Deliver classroom and hands-on skills instruction for craft personnel at generating plants throughout the Georgia and Alabama footprint.
• Subject matter expert in heavy equipment operations, including pre-operational checks and the safe operation of forklifts, skid steers, excavators, backhoes, water trucks, aerial lifts, lulls, tugs, and tractors used in power generation work.

Responsibilities

• Provide foundational training in mechanical concepts and techniques.
• Develop lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
• Assess learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Offer basic technical support and guidance during practical exercises.
• Collaborate with senior instructors to optimize training programs and materials.
