Job summary

Texas First Rentals is seeking an experienced technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment at our Garland, TX site. You will use hand and pneumatic tools to service machines per manufacturer specs, perform rebuilding tasks, and manage parts and costs efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work safely in an onsite environment. The role may require overtime and physical effort as part of routine duties.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses basic equipment malfunctions.
• Disassembles and assembles basic machine components to manufacturer specifications using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized tooling.
• Performs rebuilding, repairing, reconditioning, and maintenance of equipment and components.
• Demonstrates knowledge of estimating, planning, and controlling cost of repair jobs.
• Completes parts orders and identifies parts for return.
• Maintains all equipment and work areas in good, clean, and orderly condition.
