Power Motive Corporation seeks a Shop Technician to diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in our shop. The role includes overhauling diesel motors, rebuilding components, and servicing machines to ensure safe operation.

You will interact professionally with customers, support our sales and parts teams, and maintain complete service records. A strong mechanical background and hands-on skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Educational background or certification in Heavy Equipment repairs preferred.
• 1-2 years of heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the shop.
• Overhaul and maintain diesel motors for machinery, trucks and generators.
• Change or rebuild machine components, perform oil changes, and service parts.
• Collaborate with customers and other departments to support sales and service.
• Maintain service records and ensure safe operating conditions.
