Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Heavy Equipment Shop Technician in Denver, CO to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment in a modern facility. You will diagnose diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components, ensuring top performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or in a related role.
• High School diploma required; Trade school certificate preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
• Proficient in using diesel and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret complex schematics and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support as needed.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies for repairs and maintenance.
• Pursue ongoing learning through training and reading technical publications.
