Job summary

EquipmentShare in Anderson, SC is hiring a Shop Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair heavy equipment and aerial lifts for our rental fleet. You will diagnose issues, pull data from multiple makes/models, order parts, and keep thorough work orders to drive efficient service.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25 to $32, with overtime after 40 hours and an on-call schedule with additional compensation. Join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
• Must own tools applicable to position.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders and track machine service intervals.
• Order parts and diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
