Job summary

Anderson Equipment Company in the Northeast seeks a Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of heavy equipment. You will work on diesel, gas, and electrically powered machines, from full overhauls to minor repairs, following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, disassembling and reassembling, rebuilding engines and hydraulics, preparing parts requisitions, and using Anderson's systems to document work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year technical degree or military training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in heavy equipment repair.
• Proficiency with diagnostic programs and computer use.
• Own adequate hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy diesel, gas and electrically operated construction equipment.
• Diagnose operational difficulties; disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Rebuild components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulics.
• Prepare parts requisitions and enter into the Company's system.
• Document work orders and ensure safety regulations are followed.
