DC Army National Guard seeks a Construction Vehicle Repairer to maintain trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, and other heavy equipment used in construction operations. You will service brake actuators, batteries, starter motors, and hydraulic cylinders, troubleshoot engines and electrical systems, and establish maintenance schedules while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in Army National Guard or equivalent
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high‑pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels
