Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our Sanford, NC facility. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour to handle loading, unloading, and moving heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and cranes, reading shipping paperwork, and ensuring safe, efficient transport of equipment from yard to trailers and back. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment to assist transport and placement.
• Read and interpret documents like bills of lading, shipping orders, and manifests.
