Wallenius Wilhelmsen in Decatur, IL, seeks a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Processor to load/unload machinery, operate heavy equipment, and handle shipping paperwork. Starting pay is $20–$23/hour, based on experience, with opportunities for growth and on-the-job training.

Work is outdoors in diverse weather, with safety as a top priority. A valid driver’s license is required to move units between locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklifts.

• Ability to stand or walk throughout a full shift in various weather.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in Decatur, Illinois. Starting rate of pay $20-$23/hour, depending on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport
• Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
• Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to, bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.
• Must have a current driver’s license to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
• Current valid driver’s license
