Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is hiring a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our Sanford, NC processing center. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with growth opportunities as you gain experience moving heavy equipment.

You’ll load and unload equipment, operate forklifts or cranes, read shipping paperwork, and work outdoors in all weather. A valid driver’s license is required to move units between the factory and yard.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments.
• Read and interpret paperwork such as bills of lading and shipping manifests.
• Must have a current driver’s license to move units from factory to yard.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen company is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in Sanford, NC. Starting pay is $17.00 an hour.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport
• Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
• Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to; bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.
• Must have a current driver’s license to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
