Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services, dBA InterCon/Five Star Energy Services/M&C Utility in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to join our field team. You will safely operate rubber tire tractors and support crews in utility installation projects, following blueprints and safety protocols.

This role requires a valid CDL/Class A, a willingness to travel, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds and stay active all day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL required.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods.
• Able to lift/push/pull 20+ pounds regularly.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating rubber tire tractor.
• Experience operating other machines (backhoes, skid loaders, dozers, sidebooms, vibratory plow, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating various heavy machinery as related to each job.
• Locate underground utility services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Utilize different machines for placement and removal of dirt/debris.
• Use machinery to guide and install pipe and cable.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with Laborer jobs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
