Job summary

InterCon Construction, Inc. is seeking a reliable heavy equipment operator to support underground utility installation and earthwork in Wisconsin. You will read blueprints, operate rubber tire tractors and other machines, and place pipe and cable while adhering to safety procedures.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Class A CDL, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel. Candidates must be able to lift 20+ pounds, stand and kneel for long periods, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CDL Class A required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 20+ pounds regularly.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience operating rubber tire tractors and other heavy machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
• Locate underground utility services prior to starting work.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Operate machines for placement/removal of dirt and debris.
• Use machinery to guide and install pipe and cable.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with Laborer duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
