Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services is seeking a safety‑minded Equipment Operator in Wisconsin to support underground utility installation projects. You will operate heavy machinery, review blueprints, locate underground services, and assist with pipe and cable placement.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a Class A CDL. You must be willing to travel, able to bend, kneel, stand and walk for long periods, lift 20+ pounds regularly, and communicate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Class A CDL required.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods.
• Lift/push/pull 20+ pounds regularly.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating rubber tire tractor.
• Experience operating other machines (i.e., backhoes, skid loaders, dozers, sidebooms, vibratory plow) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
• Locate underground utilities before work.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Operate machines for placement/removal of dirt and debris.
• Guide/install pipe and cable using machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist Laborers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
