Job summary

CRH is seeking a skilled equipment operator in Salina, KS for projects across various job sites. You will operate equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes while following safety protocols and daily assignments from the Foreman.

Requirements include 1-2 years of related experience or training and a high school diploma or GED. Willingness to travel to remote sites and work nights/weekends as project needs arise. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job to a satisfactory standard.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently across job sites.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Report issues to supervisors or management promptly.
• Adhere to daily assignments and project expectations from Foreman.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and report major problems.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation.
• Help train less-experienced team members in equipment operation and repair.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
