Job summary

APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Salina, KS. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes across multiple sites, while adhering to OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and daily project requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess and maintain valid drivers license (Class A/B) and DOT considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of construction equipment safely across job sites.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Report issues promptly to supervisors and management.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with training less-experienced team members.
