Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a division of PUSH Inc., seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator for utility construction in Absarokee, MT. The role requires operating backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, and track hoe, with field experience around utilities and the ability to read prints and schematics. Travel and on-site work are required.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, labor support, and mentoring junior operators. Valid CDL preferred; safety standards and company procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated field experience with digging around utilities in rural or urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Ability to read prints/schematics and follow job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently at job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report issues.
• Assist with basic labor tasks as needed (potholing, conduit/cable placement).
• Help train and mentor other operators on team.
• Travel to job sites and support field operations.
