Job summary

PUSH, Inc., a premier telecom infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate backhoes, excavators and cable plows on fiber/cable projects across rural and urban sites. The role requires field digging experience around utilities, ability to read prints, and willingness to train others.

CDL preferred and willingness to travel. Safety comes first in all tasks and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including but not limited to backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel and work extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field experience with digging operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to be operators.
• Perform routine labor as required (potholing, setup of equipment, conduit/duct/cable placement).
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
